"Mandukhai Circus” 
“Mandukhai circus” was founded in USA by Kh.Erdenechimeg who is woman from Mongolia. The circus is joining for the”Campaign for the safe future “and going to play circus through the local places for herders, remote citizens, and communities in Mongolia from 12 -27 August 2010. The circus is collaborating with NCAV. They will play circus for local community and make awareness raising lecture among them about the “Preventing from domestic violence”. Invitation for summer training 
NCAV is going held the annual summer training “Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Depression and treatment” in June, 2010. Mr. Doug Scott who is a trainer from Australia, Center Link Commonwealth Government Agency has 20 year experience in psychology field in Australia. Last year, he had run the summer training for social workers and psychologists in Mongolia. More information click here

Children played at the game center 
According to the international child rights day “Blue mouse game center” invited children from the shelter house. The game center provided opportunity to play a hour for them. Thank to people at the game center which contributed for the creating a safe environment behalf of children.
Fresh milk from Monfresh company 
The Monfresh Company donated fresh milk for women and children’s monthly needs at the shelter house. The donation was made according to the “Milk soul and humanitarian campaign” for solve the social issues in Mongolia. Wish success and extending the humanitarian campaign to Monfresh company.

The "SEVEN AND A HALF" BAND ALBUM 
"Seven and a Half" is a family rock band that was founded by Chaandmon Croft and Layton Croft in 2007 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. At the time, Chaandmon was 7 and a half years old, and Layton was 37 and a half years old, hence the name of the band. Seconds was recorded in 2009 and released in early 2010. The band is currently writing new material and planning to record songs and videos in the near future. The seminar “Protection of children from sexual abuse and exploitation” was held

The seminar “Protection of children from sexual abuse and exploitation” was organized on the 30th April, 2010 by funding support from the International Labour Organization. (ILO)
It discussed about the analytic reports which were addressed prevention from the sexual abuse and exploitation against children, and effective method on providing comprehensive service through rehabilitation and protection of victim child and improving the social and legal environment with specialists.
The representatives from the government and non-government organization which provide services to victim child defined potential forms of cooperation for combating child sexual abuse and exploitation. They discussed about the advocacy approach how to work with task group which developing the Criminal Law draft amendment.

Fact sheet “Dating and incest rape”

NCAV conducted the research work on current legal practice for a dating and incest rape cases in Mongolia by funding support from the IPPF and Flexi Fund Result of the research work, it developed a fact sheet “Dating and incest rape” included recommendation for improving legal environment and requirement of legal amendment. The fact sheet was based on gaps which addressed while working on dating and incest cases.

Asia Feminist Activist Program in Mongolia

The Asia Feminist Activist Program in Mongolia was initiated by Korean Women's Hotline and was hosted by NCAV on the 1st November, 2009. The program provided understanding on feminism, patriarchy, and inter linkage between gender based violence and culture. The program participants were from "Hands up for rights" youth club and NCAV.
The program was significant which educated on how to address human rights issue link to human right based approach, feminism and gender issues for participants who are young human right defenders.

Asian Feminist Forum

The Asia Feminist Forum was held in Korea involving women’s organizations from Philippine, Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia Cambodia, and Japan in November, 2009. The representatives from NCAV made presentations on “Dating rape situation Mongolia” and “Future activity planning of Asian Women’s Network” and “Women organizing in Mongolia”.

Rock disco

The “Rock Disco” for raising fund combating domestic violence was organized among youths on 10th October, 2009. USA Peace Corps volunteers Amber Peace and DJ Brian organized the disco. The youths signed expressing their support eliminating violence against women. The income from the disco tax was spent for women and children’s food at the shelter house.

Much gratitude to “KHAAN BANK” Foundation
The “Khaan Bank” Foundation donated 150.000 tugrug for children who are staying at the Child Shelter House regarding on New Year. Thanks to Khaan Bank Foundation and they are sustainable supporter for NCAV.

The classical music concert made melody in heart 
The many people who support NCAV’s work and like a classical music spend a day at the “Khan bank Theater” on the 27th July, 2009. The performers Mr.Tyson Dauer played a piano, Ms.Leslie Ann Shaffer Chamberlain and Julia Cannon were sing songs on the day. The classical music concert was unique because of guests were supportive and positive for humanitarian events.

New Year gift for children from “MAKS GROUP”

On the New Year, Macs Group presented gifts to 50 children who are staying at the Women’s Shelter house. It expresses much gratitude to “MAKS GROUP” behalf of children from shelter house.

Appreciation for International Women’s Association
The international Women’s Association in Mongolia is one of the sustainable donor organizations. This time, the women from Association made valuable contribution by daily sanitary stuffs for women and children at the shelter house. The contribution was very helpful and supplied daily needs of children and women.

Asia Women’s Network for Eliminating Violence Against Women 
The Asia Women’s Network for Eliminating Violence Against Women was established during the Asia Feminist Forum in Korea on the 25th November 2009. The purpose of the network is to work on eliminating and combating domestic violence and sexual abuse and strengthening next generation to sustain feminist movement.
